About
Sport
Our PE teachers involve, excite and motivate our students to participate in sport whatever their ability and level of experience.
We offer a vibrant and exciting programme that begins in Foundation Stage and runs right through to opportunities for our Sixth Form students. We encourage excellence, personal participation, individual and squad achievement.

Swimming at BSM is one of our key activities; both in the curriculum and after school.
Our three pools; a learner pool, 4 lane 25m pool and 8 lane 25m pool, enable us to provide swimming for all our students during the school day, but also extend our offer into the community after school through our BSM Swim & Marlins programmes.
BSM MARLINS
BSM Marlins is an elite swimming squad open to all members of the Muscat community looking to compete at a high level.
The team offers year-round training sessions and there are currently four performance squads within the programme, as well as a development squad (from age 8 upwards) and a fitness squad.
These squads regularly compete at both local and National competitions and the BSM Marlins have now established themselves as one of the leading clubs in the Middle East Region.

BSM MARLINS Masters
BSM Marlins Masters is a performance training programme for adults who either wish to increase their fitness, improve their speed or train for events.
We have two Masters squads - Masters A and Masters B, both of which have an entry criteria. New members will be asked to join a session for a trial in order to assess ability.
Please get in touch with us to find out more by emailing our Head Coach, Stuart, directly on clarkes@britishschoolmuscat.com.
BSM Swim
The BSM Swim programme is open to the whole community. We offer sessions for children and adults, for complete beginners through to those wanting to improve their technique or fitness.
The programme is run by Chester Wood, an ASA Level 2 swimming teacher and BSM member of staff.
The BSM Swim programme runs during term times, in line with the dates of our Extra-Curricular Activities Programme. Payment is required up-front and you book and pay for the Term. Refunds or credits will only be given if the lesson is cancelled by the school, or if lessons are affected by a public holiday.
